The trial has been developed in collaboration with the South Australian Research and Development Institute and Meat and Livestock Australia. The objective is to demonstrate the production of high valued aquaculture products from intensive livestock wastes. |

The project will demonstrate successful application of new waste digestion methods and pathogen destruction coupled with molecular detection systems for human pathogens in aquaculture fed with wastewater. This provides direct feedback and valuable information into research projects, particularly on the production of value-added bio-products. |
